Dave Leake retired from Parkland College in late June, 2019 after 30 years of service. Since 2000 he was the director of the William M. Staerkel Planetarium. In addition to teaching Astronomy and Physics for the college, Dave performed public programs, outreach programs, handled field trips for K-12 students, worked with scout groups, and worked with local schools in curriculum development. Dave has been a guest on many radio shows, co-hosted a radio show called “Sky Guys” on WILL, and has hosted his own television program on PCTV. Here is a full resume.
